ALLYSCA’s brand identity was honoured by the German Brand Award 2017 in Berlin at the end of June. The German Brand Award is one of the highest honours for successful brand management in Germany. It awards brands, and their creators, that stand out from the crowd with a clear company concept. The competition is exclusively open to companies that have been nominated by the German Brand Institute, its brand scouts and the panels of experts for the German Brand Award 2017.
‘Being awarded this prize is a great achievement and clear confirmation that we are on the right track with our strategic reorientation’, explains Markus Kunze, CEO of ALLYSCA. ‘It’s wonderful to have our achievement recognized by the prize, and it also motivates us to keep implementing and developing the brand strategy we’ve worked out with the help of our agency DMC Group’, says Marion Forstner, Head of Marketing.
The German Brand Award honours innovative brands, consistent brand management and the people and companies leading the way in the world of brands. The prestigious prize is awarded in three categories: ‘Excellence in Branding’, ‘Industry Excellence in Branding’ and ‘Excellence in Brand Strategy, Management and Creation’. ALLYSCA was awarded ‘Special Mention’ in the ‘Industry Excellence in Branding’ category – a prize that acknowledges efforts to create a unique brand and honours commitment to keeping German brands competitive.
The German Brand Award is run by the German Brand Institute and the German Design Council, which was brought into being by the German Bundestag and endowed as a foundation by the Federal Association of German Industry in 1953. The German Brand Award is part of the foundation’s more than 60-year mission to make German companies more competitive.
