Munich Re and the Munich-based assistance service provider ALLYSCA have started a wide-ranging cooperation in the cyber management field, with the aim of offering claims management services for direct and reinsurance cyber insurance products.

As part of the partnership, ALLYSCA will advise Munich Re on cyber product development, and the companies will also develop a complete solution for all required claims management and customer services. Munich Re customers will now receive extensive services in a wide range of fields, including forensics, law and crisis PR – all under one roof at ALLYSCA. ALLYSCA will provide the services itself or call on its extensive network.

‘Services during a crisis or in the event of damages are a fundamental component of a cyber insurance policy. Not least because, when it comes to limiting costs and reputation damages after a cyber attack or data breach, the most important factor is how fast and how well you react to the damage’, explains Heike Trilovszky, Director of the Germany Division at Munich Re. ‘Our cooperation with ALLYSCA is a core element of our cyber strategy and aligns with our goal of offering Munich Re assigners all types of cyber-business service in one place’.

Markus Kunze, CEO of ALLYSCA, says: ‘For us, our close cooperation with Munich Re is a valuable relationship that will help us achieve our goal of becoming a leading assistance provider in the growing cyber market’.
